APS is offering two opportunities to get involved in key initiatives for the 2015-2016 school year and we need your help in identifying community representatives to serve on the CRCT Remediation Advisory Committee & School Turn-Around Strategy Committee. Applications are due Friday, August 14th by 5:00 p.m.
Our district is committed to engaging a diverse group of community members, and as such, we hope that as concerned stakeholders you will consider submitting an application and spreading the word in your local school communities. If you have not had the opportunity to serve on an APS committee, please consider one of the following:
Purpose: Provide guidance & support with the implementation of the support plan.
Members: 10 people (comprised of 9 clusters + 1 charter)
Purpose: This is an 8 week intense strategy project that will kick off in early August and will include a robust community engagement component that will consist of surveys, focus groups, town hall meetings and this committee will help inform the approach.
